Nolita

In pursuit of good times at 64 Great South George's Street.

We were briefed by The Mercantile Group to come up with a name and identity for their revamped premises at 64 South Great George’s Street in the centre of Dublin. The venue was to be restyled as a New York style bar and eatery, with an Italian flavour to the food offer.

A taste of New York in the heart of Dublin City.

Naming and concept

We came up with Nolita as the name as it’s a part of New York with a heavy Italian influence. The identity needed to portray the venue equally as a relaxed eatery and a slightly more energetic late night bar. In order to speak of both offers, we came up with the line ‘Eats, Drinks & Good Times’.

We also worked to hero the offer in names for key dishes and cocktails. In order to bring these to life we briefed illustrator Mr Alan Clarke to create an illustration for amongst others the ‘Twisted Mister’ and ‘Top Shelf Beauty’ cocktails and ‘The Beefcake of Bologna’ main dish.
