Brand identity for a Modern All Day Kitchen
Seapoint is a successful restaurant in Monkstown, Co. Dublin popular amongst a loyal local clientele. However, the owner Shane Kenny had a vision to create a destination restaurant with a wider appeal. We travelled to London with Shane and his team to research restaurant trends and identify benchmarks for the relaunched restaurant. A new menu, expanded cocktail offering and ‘own brand’ signature products, such as coffee, were discussed. We worked closely with 21 Spaces, who were designing the interior space, on an entirely new look and feel for the restaurant. A strong wordmark was designed which could be used on a single line or stacked. A secondary stamp was created containing the words ‘A Modern All Day Kitchen’ which communicated that the restaurant was now as much a place to visit for a weekend brunch as a more formal evening meal. A number of patterns were also created in the same line style as the logo which could be used for a variety of key pieces such as print materials, napkins, cushions and packaging. A number of menus were designed to accomodate the different food offers.
