Book design for the Irish instutute of advertising and design.
We were approached by ICAD (Institute of Creative Advertising and Design) to design the 2010 ICAD Book. The book is produced annually and features advertising and design work awarded by the industry at that years ICAD awards.
For the 2010 edition we designed the book around the concept of ‘Home Made’, to celebrate the craft that goes into producing the great advertising and design work showcased in the book. The theme fitted with the spirit of the time, when creatives were called upon to use their talent to produce world-class advertising and design work on ever decreasing budgets.
In keeping with the concept we worked closely with illustrator Steve Doogan to create a set of illustrations for the publication. The finished piece was wrapped in an 80gsm dust jacket to tie in with the theme.
